"When there is an imminent danger for the Faith, Prelates must be questioned, even publicly, by their subjects."St. Thomas AquinasSumma Theologica II, II, q. 33, a. 4
Further, we here at Orlando Latin Mass pray that the extreme liberalism in Orlando will stop and for a return to traditionalism. Below are examples of the extremism we speak of. Please pray for people to have the courage to demand a stop to some of the recent madness.
The Heterodoxy:
Orlando Diocese priest in Lady Lake denies role of the priesthood in the Sacrifice of the Mass. Fr. Fucheck states that "The celebrant speaks in the name of the gathered assembly. We don't watch a priest say Mass. We are the celebrants." A true Catholic reality check can be found here. The pastor does not have the Catholic faith in him with this statement; he has the Lutheran false understanding of the Mass & priesthood.
Orlando Diocese newspaper proclaims that "Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is something that must happen to every Catholic." Reality check: "I confess one Baptism for the remission of sin" as stated in the Nicene Creed. Read more about this heresy in the following link.
Orlando priest takes advantage of elderly parishioner (taking hundreds of thousands of dollars) and offers his reisgnation for "health reasons."
Almost one million dollars stolen from Orlando parish.
"The Cafeteria is Closed?" St. Francis of Assisi parish in Apopka will host a "clown priest" for their 2007 mission per a recent bulletin. The circus in the Orlando diocese continues.

All Souls parish sponsors Girl Scouts at their church. Meanwhile, the organization lends it's support to anti-Catholic values such as homosexuality and abortion.

"Look to yourselves", says he, "that ye lose not the things that ye have wrought, but that you may receive a full reward. Whosoever revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine the same hath both the Father and the Son. If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, nor say to him, God speed you: for he that saith to him, God speed you, communicateth with his wicked works". (2 John, ver. 8)
"I can assure you it's not due to inappropriate behavior with minors, or children, or anything like that ," states Fr. Parkes of the Orlando diocese. 24 hours later, the Orlando Sentinel reports that Fr. Bedoya from Deltona was removed due to "sex acts" with a drunken parishioner following dinner. Update: Group writes letter to Bishop Wenski about the diocese coverup.

Just who is King of the Orlando diocese? Bishop Wenski to celebrate an "ecumenical Mass" on January of 2007 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. This should be a scandal for Catholics as King's moral and spiritual life were far from the truth according to a January 23, 2003 report by "Fr. Moderator." Protestants are praised in the diocese, yet traditionalists in the diocese are scorned as being "non-Catholic." An account of such an event in Pittsburgh is perhaps a preview of what is to come in Orlando. William Zeitz is correct in his analysis , "Traditional Catholics will view the...memorial to Martin Luther King, Jr. with great alarm, as rightly they should. It is the proof of what traditionalists have been saying since the introduction of the Novus Ordo, that its ambiguous liturgy can be bent and shaped to suit the issue of current importance, in this case the raising of the man and revolutionary King to a false equality with Christ! It can be used to destroy the true meaning of the Mass by ; replacing adoration and devotion with blasphemy and heresy."
St. Isaac Jogues, pray for us! The parish dedicated to his name is in ruins. According to a recent bulletin , people are "trashing" the "church" with garbage. Nevertheless, the pastor reminds the laity that they will participate in "World Communion Sunday." This "service" is celebrated by Protestants yearly via the World Council of Churches. This is exactly what happens when one removes the "Holy Sacrifice of the Mass" and replaces it with a "celebration" or "meal," which the over emphasis leads to Protestantism and people acting if they are in high school by placing gum under pews.
Corpus Christi or Halloween? Lay men (Scroll down to read about the invalidation of Anglican orders) from the "Cathedral of the Incarnation" pose at St. James Cathedral on Corpus Christi. True "ecumenism" is not that --- but conversion. Compare this to the case of a former Lutheran, Sten Sandmark .

A recent bulletin from St. Charles Borromeo church praises the Protestant song “Amazing Grace.” This song, unfortunately popular in many Novus Ordo parishes, gives off a false sentiment that “once saved, always saved.” The priest also calls the author of the song as a “minister of the Gospel” which is incorrect as the Protestants truly reject The Bible. From the Council of Trent, an ecumenical council that St. Charles Borromeo was very much a part of having edited the great Catechism from this council;
FOURTH SESSION: DECREE CONCERNING THE CANONICAL SCRIPTURES: "If anyone does not accept as sacred and canonical the aforesaid books in their entirety and with all their parts [the 66 books of the Bible plus 12 apocryphal books, being two of Paralipomenon, two of Esdras, Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, Sophonias, two of Macabees], as they have been accustomed to be read in the Catholic Church and as they are contained in the old Latin Vulgate Edition, and knowingly and deliberately rejects the aforesaid traditions, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA."
Surely, one needs to read St. Pius X’s Motu Proprio on Sacred Music to understand what Catholic Music is. Surely, “Amazing Grace,” the old Protestant version or one by Fr. Stan Fortuna is not Catholic!

A recent
advertisement for the University of Central Florida's Catholic Campus Ministry
(sponsored by the Orlando diocese) contained an image of "Buddy Christ." This
blasphemous image of our Lord was used in the movie "Dogma" in which among other
things, attacks the Mass, The Church, God, The Blessed Virgin Mary's virginity,
etc. according to reviews at the Internet Movie Database. In fact, the movie is
so blasphemous that the
Catholic League released a
booklet
against this film.
A fragment from the May 21, 2006 St. Margaret Mary parish bulletin shows that occultism of Yoga is still present and affecting Catholic devotions at this "Catholic" parish.
A recent Mass with Bishop Thomas Wenski featured concelebrants wearing some interesting stoles. One features a rainbow colored picture of the continent of Africa, and the other looks to mimic the United Nations logo.
Orlando Diocese synod : "There is a need for cooperation with other denominations to further the work of Christ." In other words, these people see the Catholic Church as not being the one, true Church. But a mere "denomination" not instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ, but as a Church as good as your local Protestant sect. The synod also uses the term, "non Catholic Christian." There is no such thing as a "non Catholic Christian." Either one is a Christian Catholic, or he is a heretic, schismatic, or infidel. In reality: "Anathema to all heretics! Anathema, anathema!" - Council of Trent. Of coarse, one can't throw out anathemas to open this synod, as the Orlando diocese synod is ran by a Lutheran!
Liberation Theology : Not only with the Theology, but with books. Making his point about illegal immigration, Bishop Wenski spoke well about Les Miserables, a book that was on the Index of Forbidden books. Also, pro-Communist groups were heavily involved in the May 1st marches. Interestingly enough, May 1st is also the day when many celebrate the Bolshevik Revolution.
Fr. Larry Lossing concelebrates Mass at a "Catholic-Jewish center" sponsored event. Interestingly enough, Fr. Lossing is a former Anglican "clergyman" and is a married priest according to the Orlando area Spanish newspaper, El Nuevo Dia in the 29th of September, 2005 issue. Bishop Wenski has made this priest the "director of ecumenism" for the diocese of Orlando and it looks like he still enjoys visiting the Anglican schismatics whose orders are invalid.
RIP Terri. The last from the Florida Council of Catholic Bishops: Terri’s Bishop Issues Bizarre Statement--Implies Schindlers should accept her imminent death. and More Obfuscation.
This isn't a Catholic bishop ordination or a Catholic Mass for that matter! Rather, Bishop Norbert Dorsey and other Florida bishops allowed Lutherans to consecrate their bishop at Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine in 2001. Had this particular bishop's name been Marcel, who knows what would have happened? These pictures are from the Florida Synod's website. UPDATE: According to an e-mail sent by Bishop Wenski to OLM, His Excellency described this event was on Bishop Dorsey's behalf a great act of "ecumenical charity." How allowing an invalid "communion service" and "bishop installation" at a Catholic shrine is "charity" is beyond reason.
St. Mary's parish in Rockledge. Words can't describe this "church."
"Clown mess" at
Holy Name of Jesus parish
in Indiatlantic.
Bishop Dorsey rejects the Trent anathemas?! Lutheran publication on page 15 claims Bishop Dorsey at an ecumenical service apologized in regard to how the Catholic Church treated Protestants (heretics) during and after the so called "reformation."
Seminary used by the Orlando diocese allegedly now only admits " homosexual candidates " for the priesthood. Priest from the archdiocese of Miami was prosecuted as a whistle blower and is fighting back .
Altar, (blasphamous) Station of the Cross , and stained glass window from the new Blessed Trinity Catholic Church . Contrast this with Mediator Dei. We were warned about this (paragraph 62).
Bishop Wenski with fellow priests and "lay ministers" outside St. James Cathedral. "Lay ministers" are neither Catholic nor traditional. For more information on "lay ministers" and other nonsense, read Michael Davies' Communion in the Hand and Other Frauds .
OK! Who put the hosts into the collection baskets?! (Picture: Florida Catholic). Interestingly enough, His Excellency has banned such "salad baskets" from Mass according to & described by a priest in the diocese. Yet, His Excellency continues to use them.
Another example of ciboriums and chalices unfit for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This time at St. Stephen's in Winter Springs. Oh yeah! They have women giving homilies too (remember, laity aren't allowed to give homilies at CATHOLIC Masses).
"Charismatics"
refusing to kneel with the exposure of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the
monstrance. As well, Pagan like dancing at this event sponsored by the Orlando
diocese. For information about the dangers of the "Charismatic movement," click

Election
2004 in a nutshell:
Bishop
Thomas Wenski condemns pro abortion politicians. (5/18/04)
Senator
Kerry receives the Holy Eucharist in Orlando during Novus Ordo Mass
at St. John Vianney parish, Orlando. (11/1/04)
Father
Miguel Gonzalez, former vicar at St. John Vianney appointed to
director of vocations. (12/15/04)
Diocese
appoints Father Henry, pastor at St. Vianney, "Vicar for
priests." Probably as award for hosting Senator Kerry. (1/12/05)
One has
to wonder, if Bishop Wenski is truly tough on pro-abortion
politicians, then why would these two priests who allowed Kerry in
for basically a photo opportunity and to receive the Holy Eucharist,
receive promotions within the
diocese?

Anti-Catholic
group, "Call to Action," has ties in Orlando. St.
Margaret Mary parish boasts Call
to Action ties, laity giving homilies, nuns giving homilies,
priestess "healers," liturgic abuse, et al.
"Asperges" taking place during Bike Week.
Note to Father Bob Webster (Liturgical director) - A stole is supposed to be
worn under the chasuble, people aren't supposed to hold hands during the Pater
Noster regardless of flu season or not, etc. There are too many abuses to name
in the diocese. Photo courtesy of the Orlando Sentinel.
Fr. Henry cites an article in a bulletin that praises the post-conciliar liturgy. Quotes Cardinal Mahoney; and later states that we haven't gotten far enough and "have a long way to go!" Maybe he should try the Quakers?
Sister Linda Gaupin , Director of Religious Education for the Diocese of Orlando attended Cardinal Mahoney's recent sacrilegious conference as a speaker. We have seen that what has taken place at these conferences has subsequently made it's way down to Florida.
Speaking of liturgical dancers, they are present at " Blessed Trinity Catholic Community. " Apparently, the focus there is on "luv;" not to worship the one, true God in a solemn manner as is apparent in their name. They aren't a "church" where the focus is on God. Rather, a "community," where the focus is on man.
Winter Park parish now hosts paganism. Tai Chi at St. Margaret Mary (page 5).
"...the reading of the Good News according to Matthew." Fr. Giel's televised Novus Ordo Mass is an embarrassment for Catholics in Orlando. The Novus Ordo Mass (at times even worst than what the ICEL came up with) he celebrates resembles a combination of a Protestant communion service and one of those heretical preachers that walks all over the stage during their so called "sermons." Article: " Fad Catholicism ."
"Incensing" the "altars" at Our Lady of Angeles Cathedral in Los Angeles and St. James Cathedral in Orlando.
St. James Cathedral and St. Luke schismatic cathedral. Where is the tabernacle? Where are the altar rails? Where is the glorious high altar? Where in the sanctuary lamp? Where are the statutes? Gone. Thanks to the Martin Luthers and "reformers" of the Orlando diocese.
Bishop
Wenski celebrates ecumenism at Cathedral. Ironically, the event was
supposed to be on the feast of the conversion of St. Paul.
When
does the madness stop? Bishop even has ecumenical services during the
morning period of Pope John Paul II.
Bishop
Wenski celebrates "Mass" at schismatic church according to
diocese paper (later retracted by the diocese). Also, Father Garcia
washing the feet of women during Novus Ordo Holy week celebrations.
Reality: "How can
two or three be gathered in the name of Christ, who it is clear are
separated from Christ and His gospel?...Do they who are gathered
together outside the Church of Christ think that Christ is with them
when they have been gathered together?" St. Cyprian, The Unity
of the Catholic Church, Chapters 12-13. Full

"For Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, our enemy is not each other but a godless world that preaches moral nihilism and relativism." -Statement by Bishop Wenski. Too bad his excellency isn't walking in the direction of Mirari Vos . Excerpt; "Now We consider another abundant source of the evils with which the Church is afflicted at present: indifferentism. This perverse opinion is spread on all sides by the fraud of the wicked who claim that it is possible to obtain the eternal salvation of the soul by the profession of any kind of religion, as long as morality is maintained. Surely, in so clear a matter, you will drive this deadly error far from the people committed to your care. With the admonition of the apostle that "there is one God, one faith, one baptism"[16] may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever."
"The unity of Christians cannot otherwise be obtained than by securing the return of the separated to the one true Church of Christ from which they once unhappily withdrew. To the one true Church of Christ, we say, that stands forth before all and that by the will of its Founder will remain forever the same as when He Himself established it for the salvation of all mankind." (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos).
"In The Eye Of The Storm." Hurricanes can be Divine punishment!
These issues among many others, constitute a crisis within the church and we at OLM pray that God, Our Lady, St. Michael the Archangel, and all the Saints will help us to keep the faith in these testing times. Please join us in praying for the clergy in Florida; especially Orlando.
